Burton Stather is in Lincolnshire. Patchem. It is on a family tree someone sent me, i must admit i haven't checked it for myself, but it was on my tree but not really researchable as i couldn't find a story, until now. Burton stather is on the Trent. I know he was a waterman too and and grocer and was made bankcrupt in 1868, so thought the 1861 census would help. many thanks |

Thank you Maureen. Then name in question is Marlin, strange i know, but have seen it on many things and spelled differently. Have seen it on a grave though in Burton spelled Marlin. Not sure where it came from. |
