Can anyone tell me if the death registrations on Ancestry or any other site from 1837 onwards are a full record of all deaths after 1837. If so, is it possible that someone could be missed or not registered. If someone was missed or not registered I assume that the only other record would be held in the Parish Registers. |

Any death registered 1837-2005 will be on Ancestry. Mistranscribes can happen and the record is only as good as the person giving the info and the person recording it. |

In theory, at least, all deaths should be registered after 1837. However, you will not find deaths registered in the Parish Registers. Only marriages were recorded, together with baptisms and burials. |
