Jut located my father's biological family - is there a way to add his biological mother to my tree without my tree thinking I am trying to add his adoptive mother's mother? You know what I mean? Sorry If I am not make sense! |

I think you have to have both running separately, so need to add him as another person and just put notes on both entries. But someone else might know better! |

If you use commercial software such as Family Tree Maker (FTM) you will find that you have the flexibility to record multiple relationships. You simply add a second set of parents and flag one set as 'Adopted' and the other as 'Biological'. |

The easy way,on Genes,is to add the real mother as a partner to the adoptive father. |
