Sorry if this is a daft question - I'm very new to this. If I know a couple got married and when, is there a straightforward way of finding out if and when they then had any children? Its fairly recent (1950's/60's) so can't get from census records |

You can do a free search on findmypast using both parents surnames, but you have to pay to view the record. Find the month/place and then return to GR and look up the record. |

well you search birth records using the surname combination. ie surname Bloggs mother maiden name Perry . Usually in the same area as marriage BUT so it can show up many with the same surname combinations which you would need to eliminate with certs which could be costly |
