Hi Linda

The tree on Ancestry belongs to a person called Bea. There is no way to contact her other than through the Ancestry site. I checked the site and she has not been on Ancestry for the last six months. She does not appear to be on Genes. I am happy to pass on a message from you

I presume she got her information about Robert from the parish records on Family Search below. I wonder if Scotland's People would have more details?

just had a thought went back onto SP and searched for any Robert Clark bornbetween 1800 and 1808 in Dunfermline Fife didnt put in parents name. Only 2 matches came up "my" Robert and one whose DOB was 11/1/1801 parents john Clark/Ann Campbell also Dunfermline Fife.
Now what this matches up with the shipwreck but could the one on the census "fit" with the older Robert?
NOW I REALLY NEED TO GET READY MY OH IS GIVING ME THAT LOOK!

The Robert who died could well be the other Robert. Re message to person on Ancestry I don't think it works like Genes and they send you an email. I don't keep a tree on Ancestry so really haven't had a message for ages!!!
