Can't find her in 1861 but from 1871 onwards she is in the workhouse.

just looked at the original, it does actually say Fatuous Person in the occupation, also she is listed as Fatuous in the "whether blind or deaf and dumb" column

I've forgotten the family, but I once came across a family in some Durham mining village, and their listed disability was they were all born in Lancashire.

If you enter "fatuous" as occupation on the 1851 census you come up with a number of results.
