How much for cert. please.

Can anyone tell me how much I have to send to order a full birth cert. from the ONS, I am going to send a postal order, I haven't ordered cert. for a long time now & don't know how much they are, it's a old cert. from 1883 that I'm sending for. |

Jackie - Although my gut instinct is to say that it is the same price (£9.25). Since information on the website only seems to apply to online ordering, you may want to phone them during the week to double check. |

The Fee is fixed by statute at £9.25, irrespective of how you order. |

I ordered 2 certificates by phone from a Register Office last week and paid £18 in total,, paid by card. ...ie. No extra for postage. |
