I am hoping someone would be kind enough to read the 1841 census for me, try as i might i just cant make out the proffessions or the name of one of the people in the household. It is for William Quick born 1781 Gloucestershire, location Clifton Westbury and Henbury, and there is another name underneath William, any help with this would be very much appreciated. |

There isn't a William Quick at all in Gloucestershire on the 1841 census anywhere near the birth year you give. |

Good one, Maureen! Yes I believe it's Quick on the original. But now, what's his occupation, smartypants? The name underneath looks like Mary Ann Grismond? She's FS, female servant. |

It's hard to tell. Just a guess-Mary Ann Grismond??? F S is female servant. Can't read his occupation unless it's a badly scrawled IND (independent). |
