Can I ask for some advice. Is there any way I can get hold of or sight of a marriage in 1854 in Southern Ireland. |

Where did you get the details of the marriage from? You will not be able to get a marriage cert as such - they did not exist before Civil Registration started. It is possible that the register is still at the church - you could try contacting the Priest to ask if he will send you details |

Thanks for suggestions , I got the details from Family Search.Viewing the record on Rootsireland doesn't give christian names of bride and grooms' fathers unfortunately, so I don't think there is any point in trying to contact the parish priest |

Thanks for that Ann. I have those details , my problem is getting their father's names. Looked on Rootsireland - only gives their surnames |
