I found that three of my grandfathers cousins emegrated to the States, one in 1911 and the other two after the 1st world war. I have found the ship/date etc that they sailed on and I also found them on two USA census. |

I had a similar problem a few years ago I went online googled the last known area for local newspapers, e-mailed one of them asking if they would put an aticle in for me searching for my family ,they did and I was lucky I am now in contact with a second cousin , its worth a go . |

You could start off having a google using their names and a couple of the details you know. Google is an amazing tool. |
