did he stay in Ireland or could he have gone to USA - finding many wth his name and dob in USA and have you any idea of his wife's name, or any children? |

my great grandfather Patrick came to live in leigh lancashire and he married in bolton and died in leigh lancashire in 1915. i never found any brothers or sisters . |

Linda, there will not be a birth certificate for him but, if I were you, I would post on the rootsweb mailing list for Galway. |

You could try this site. You need to register to search and buy credits to view records (quite expensive so need to be sure). If the father was a farmer than the name may come up in the land evaluation. |
