I dont think its possible trees are loaded by Gedcom and any new tree introduced will overwrite the one you already have, although notes and photos do not always follow . |

I don't use PAF but I suspect that it has the facility to merge a gedcom file on to its existing database, in which case I would proceed as follows:- |

you cant open a gedcom midway, you wony see it until you load it onto a tree program |

Before you can do the step Lindsey describes above, you have to create the gedcom from your PAF program. Open PAF which by now should contain your new merged tree and click on something like file / export / export gedcom . I can't give the eaxact instructions as I don't have PAF. |
