James Nolan b 1932 to William Nolan and May Caffrey in Didsbury Manchester. The fathers name wasn´t on the birth certificate but William and May went on to have a son in 1934, and had a daughter in 1929, William and May show 3 children on all records. Thanks guys, Carole |

Thanks RutlandBelle. I am looking for my living uncles James b 1932 and William Nolan b 1934, I have birth certificates, have found them on the census, they are alive as far as I can tell, so how do i go about finding them alive. I ahve reams of lists and addresses, is it a good idea to write to them all? |

You could try handwritten letters, and even enclose a SAE for yourself. |
