thanks for the reply.
iwas born 1954, in 58 my dad was posted to munchen gladbach in germany, my mum me and brothers all went for 2 years in married quarters. i have a feeling i was christened out there.just dont know how to find out

What an interesting query. I know where and when I was christened but have no idea how to find any record. i am certain it wouldn't be online though. My thought would be to go to the archive centre and have a look there. Very tricky if you don't know the church.

I would'nt think you would find your christening on line anyway. All my family including myself come from Walthamstow and I am pretty sure my gran would have been baptised as her other 14 siblings were but she was the only one born there the others Islington, still waiting for it to come on line and that was in 1904. Walthamstow came under Essex then rather than London

chears tempest did look on ancestry and other sites over past 2 years. cant remember what sites tho.
but im stuck.

are you looking on ancestry? I think baptisms on there only go up to 1906

hi all.
ive been trying in vain to find my own christening. i was born in walthamstow e17, but cant find any records apart from my birth there,
their is a possibility i was christened in germany, when my dad was stationed over there, in the raf,
does anyone have any idea how i could check this out.
