Try Lambeth Libraries - their local studies should be able to advise, too. Hopefully in a less surly manner than Wandsworth council. Poor PigletsPal to be on the receiving end. |

Two cemetaries I know of that are local possibilities to Brixton, are Streatham Cemetaries. One is on Garrett Lane that is near Tooting (SE London) Tel 02087642255 and the other around Mitcham (SE London) Tel: 0208684 3877. When I tried to locate my grandmother's burial site, they were really helpful and sympathetic, replying to my enquiry within hours. |
