I've found out from the 1891 Census that my great great grandfather, Joseph Besant, was a Police Constable in London. I'm wondering whether there are records of this type of thing and if so, where I could view them? |

I tried a couple of addresses for Met police officers & the one that really came up trumps was '[email protected]'. |
