I'm only having occasional problems.

As well as the 'old' family search which is much easier to read (surely they won't get rid of that with all its good lists of 1881 households and ancestral submissions and batch facility), I use the pilot site. The only times I have tried the beta site I get totally confused. Is it me or is it 's search engine not as good as the pilot site?

Researching:
Liverpool (Cartwright, Chambers, Miller), Todmorden (Sutcliffe, Mallison), Abergavenny (Watkins, Prosser)

I do hope that the old familysearch doesn't disappear. I sometimes find searching the batch number brings up things that I can't find on the beta search.

Janey, I am not having any problems with the site.

Old Original familysearch.

If you scroll down to the bottom of the "New" search page, there is an option to Use the previous version of FamilySearch.org, so glad because i can't get used to the newer version either, so slow for me.

I haven't been able to access familysearch.org *at all* for a week.


The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.


This isn't happening to anybody else at all??

Go to advanced search (next to the search button)

Click on the Relationship 'select' drop down box.

Select parents.

I have been trying to get onto the IGI site to do a parent search but I keep getting the new beta familysearch.

Does anyone know if I can do a parents search on there please,
