The register office in the town where the marriage occurred.........but I doubt they would tell you, as privacy laws would probably apply. |

The Local Register Office does not provide a look-up service. Irrespective of the date, you have to provide details of the event, and they look for a cert based on that information. |

It's worth noting that the legislation changed a few years ago to prevent marriage information being released into the public domain so that GRO references for marriages are not given post 2005. |
