I have just received an email message that says that xxx xxx has given permission to view his tree, but when I go into GR I cannot find anything from this person.

suggestions please.

They should be in "My contacts" which is at "messages" in top bar.

I had one of these recently. The sender was not a name I recognised, was not in My Contacts, My Inbox or on my list of Other Trees. I decided it was Spam and deleted the email, hoping it didn't have a virus attached!!
