Kathlyn-just a thought. As I learn about various families on my tree I keep an A4 information sheet on each one. When I connect with a possible relative I don't automatically share my tree but I always try to offer information on the immediate family. Most people seem to be pleased to receive an information sheet which I can attach to an email without having to rewrite anything.Sometimes sharing trees, particularly if they are huge, is quite a maze of information and not always helpful because it is difficult to work out . I don't like chunks of my tree being removed if I find someone is just collecting names.-Jle |

I have managed to master the very basics of using a computer, but the terminology used baffles me, like..."default" for example. I do not keep my tree on GR or Ancestry but on bog standard wallpaper sized bits of paper. |
