I always thought my late Grandfather (Nov.1903-1993) was an only child but looking more closely at the 1911 census I see his parents had another child that had died. His parents married in Feb.1903. |

Are there any names that are familiar to you.......could the child have been named after either of their parents or grandparents..? |

Thanks everyone for your replies. I'm fairly certain I have found the correct birth/death (1905) and the child did have a familiar christian name. |

I had this when I discovered via the 1911 census that my Nana had not been an only child as the family believed, and that her parents had lost two children. |
