If there was an inquest then the coroner would show on the death cert as the informant this is for England and Wales certs |

Thanks Annie. The boat was a steam trawler called Castleton, there is lots of information on the Internet about what happened to the boat. I'm hoping to go to Grimsby library this week to see what was actually in the newspaper. |

My G Grandfather was a fisherman whose boat was sunk in 1940 around the Orkney Islands. His body was supposedly recovered and is buried in Flotta. |
