I've traced one branch of my family back to a Mary Sheringham, born in Little Snoring, Norfolk around the 1770s. However on looking at parish records, there appear to have been two women with the same name at that time as I found 2 marriage records and concurrent baptism records showing the two couples as parents. I have found a baptism record for Mary, but only for one of them. Is there any way of ascertaining whether this is my ancestor or the other Mary Sheringham? |

I have found the birth you refer to on FreeReg and also a marriage to a William Tuck, 09 Jan 1801. |

Yes, I think it's actually John Parsons, though it looks like Parton or Paston on the marriage record |
