Unlikely you will get a report on recent coroners ínquests because there is a 70 or 100 year closure on them (Can´t remember which) |

The Coroner has a legal obligation to retain all papers relating to each death for fifteen years. It is then up to each individual Coroner to decide what should happen to the papers, and this explains regional variations in survival. Unfortunately, many are simply destroyed. |

Quite a lot of coroners send their inquest papers to the local records office / archives. Whilst the records are closed for 70 years, if you write to the local coroner and ask if he will allow access for research into traits of causes of death in the family, they will sometimes give a letter to go the the place where they are stored and grant access. |
