Hi , can anyone help me with windows 7, on Ancestry i am trying to save some war records so i can print them off but, when i click on the Image to save it a box come up and it is "Save as" so i click on it give it a name and then off it goes , after that i cannot find it . Can anyone tell me in laymans terms please what i need to do before i throw this computer out the window . Thanks . |

Unless you have set your browser options to save somewhere else the images etc will be saved in downloads folder, which is one of the folders located in documents. |

Hi thanks for all the replys, but they are not in my downloads just looked , and if i right click on image it just comes up properties, the only box i get up is "save as" if i click on another image to save the box comes up angain and the image i last saved is there but i cannot open it as it says " the viewer cannot display as the image may have been deleted or is stored in a place that is unavailable or that i do not have permission . Bring back windows xp i never had a problem with it |

Once again the members of GR has solved the problem i looked at the thread and followed the instuctions and changed the options and hey presto it worked, Thanks to all who answered and helped another problem solved |
