Apparently as well as high death rate amongst the slaves on the voyage the death rate amongst crew was as high as 54% but then again their value was not as much. Many of those who survived the voyage died ashore. |

Were these men slavers? Reading a book called 2,000 Manx Mariners and it refers to them. |
