If you know his Regiment, you could try contacting them. I know there is some sort of restriction on releasing WW2 records to only next of kin, but a way round it would be to ask if he was the husband of X. If you aren't next of kin or your parents aren't, if still living, not sure what you can do. In either case, you have to prove that the service man has died. |
