David, one more thing. I would advise starting to build your family tree as far as you know it first of all. This is because when you find records you are able to attach them to members of that tree. |

Put in as little information as necessary. Sometimes if you put in too much information you don't get the right results. If you are looking for a birth just put in the name and the year you think the birth occurred +/- a couple of years and see what comes up. |

If you run your cursor over "search" you will see a drop-down menu, in which there is a "births, marriages and deaths" option. |
