On Ancestry I always go on the printer to preferences, and click "print quality - high", "landscape" and then on page setup click "fit to page"

Note that the zoom level you're looking at influences what file gets saved on Ancestry. I just checked one image I was looking at and saving at 50% zoom gets a 110kb file, at 100/150% gets 504kb, and 200% gets 782kb.

The moral - save at 200% zoom unless you're saving lots and are tight on space. You never know when you've got the family down as living on Cardeys Lane and later want to blow it up as you now think it might be Careless Lane.

I also save to my PC as Christine does and works fine.

On Ancestry I always save the image to my computer and then if I need to print it, print from there.

Help please as I can't go to bed until I've printed this census!
I can't make it print properly on Genes and it's printing a smaller size then usual on ancestry - even when I follow all the instructions.
Is there a magic potion someone could give me please to make it work?
Thanks a lot
Jill
