Mike I think you are right and he doesn't want to be found. I have looked again using occupation codes for Iron and Wire workers but he is not appearing. |

I think sometimes we just can't find rellies on a particular census. Like Jennifer suggests, they could be out in the night for whatever reason. Might have just had a strop on, and walked out! I have a number of rellies that I can't find. But unless it hampers our research for their ancestors, it doesn't really matter. When you come to print your family history you just say "George Albert was away from home on the night of the 1911 census, and has not been traced". |
