Malling, Tonbridge and Maidstone are in Kent not Bucks.
If you google each of them you'll find that there are some records online and there is an OPC for both East Malling and West Malling who should be able to help.

Hello Angela Thankyou for your reply. I am also looking for Buckinghamshire records.
Maidstone etc. I seem to be going round in circles.
So, I am hoping that anyone who may have visited these areas might offer up something for us all to share.
Right I need my cocoa, I`m starting to waffle. Ann

opc is very much a work in progress, only a few places have them, and they are all VOLUNTEER driven ..... nothing to do with councils at all.
Go to www.onlineparishclerks.org.uk/
to get more information and see whether anything is available for areas that you are interested
In Buckinghamshire, it is a matter of contacting the Buckinghamshire Family History Society, joining the society, and buying the cds or paying for them to send you the information.

There is an excellent site for many Kentish records......Medway City Ark but, unfortunately, Malling and Maidstone records are not on it. I think they may just be outside the area of Medway itself.
There is another site called Mid-Kent marriage index which has some records dated 1754-1911.

Hello Cynthia Thankyou for your reply. I had not heard of the Marraige Index site, I will check it out . Medway City ark is an excellent site. If only all council boroughs had one like that, searching would be a breeze. But, we would miss all the fun of trying.
I have had contact from a person that has some Parish Records for Bucks and she is very kindly going to help me if she can.
Still no joy tracing Maidstone, Tonbridge and Ryarsh records. Ann

Ann Cut and pasted this list for you from the thread - provided by Richard in response to MadMeg
Here is my list of OPC links - I'm sure that they're all already on this thread somewhere, but like you say, it's good to have them all in one place:
Cornwall: http://www.cornwall-opc.org/ Cumberland/Westmoreland: http://www.cumberlandarchives.co.uk/ Devon: http://genuki.cs.ncl.ac.uk/DEV/OPCproject.html Dorset: http://www.opcdorset.org/index.htm Essex: http://essex-opc.org.uk/ Hampshire: http://www.knightroots.co.uk/parishes.htm Kent: http://www.kent-opc.org/ Lancashire: http://www.lan-opc.org.uk/indexp.html Leicestershire: http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~engleiopc/ Monmouthshire: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~monfamilies/monmouthshire-opc.htm Somerset: http://wsom-opc.org.uk/ Sussex: http://www.sussex-opc.org/ Warwickshire: http://www.hunimex.com/warwick/opc/opc.html Wiltshire: http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~engwopcp/

St Martin, Ryarsh parish records which includes baptisms up to 1945 are at The Centre for Kentish Studies.

Hello Everyone I have been navigating my way around the opc site, looks hopeful. And the Mid-Kent Marr; Index _ an interesting site. Kent Genealogy is one I have been on today, there is more for me to view before I could say if it is going to be of any use. Let you know how I get on. KFHSoc: has Ryarsh records for 1560-1812 __but I need entries for later than that . __1933 Thanks , be in touch Ann

Kent has several family history societies so it might be worth joining or contacting one or more of those.
Cityark covers the Medway towns - Strood, Rochester and Chatham. Medway is a unitary authority and is "separate" from Kent County Council.
However, you will also find Gravesham records on Cityark and Gravesham is within KCC boundaries.
Confused? Not surprising really ...
KCC have very little info on line compared to some Councils.
Jill
p.s. Whereabouts in Bucks are you looking for parish records? I purchased a cd of St Mary Aylesbury from the Bucks FHS and it's been a blessing for that part of my tree.

Hello You are all so helpful__thankyou. In the 1901 Census Mary Martin states place of birth as Great Marlow Bucks.
I have also been on Rootschat.com and just signed up for Kent History forum. which is very useful, for Medway Towns if anyone needs to know. I have been tracking my Grandpa`s National Fire Service records to no avail. But this site has quite a few photos on its military pages which readers have added. Taken locally within the towns. Medway Memories site not bad either.
It looks like I will have to buy CDs for the Larkfield and Maidstone areas. Which is fine, but I was not aware of that at the start of tracing this particular set of relations. I am going to join the North West Kent Family History Society. This has been quite a learning curve for me. any info I can gain on Maidstone sites I will keep posting here and Cds that I will buy I will do look ups for people. Stay in touch Ann
