thanks pete,but my husbands grandfather didnt die during ww1 but we were trying to find out what ships he had served on . we know that when he was 16 years he joined the navy and did his training on The Victory.. |

Have you looked at The National Archives site. They have RN records. Some of them are digitised and available at £3.50 per record. |
