Could someone see if they can find James kerr & wife Jessie Kerr on any census from 1851. I have found James on Free cen (mistranscribed as Ken) aged 15yrs in Midlothian Scotland. Think he was born in West Lothian. down as a seaman. Between 1841 & 51 he married Jessie. They had a daughter Jessie Marion Kerr born in Limehouse, Middlesex in 1849. I have found Jessie with her brother & sisters on 1861 census with their auntie Marion Kerr in Edinburgh. Brother James born Abt 1848 in Edinburgh. Sisters Christiana born abt 1852 Edinburgh, Williamina aged abt 7 born in Ireland. As James was a Mariner he could be anywhere. Many thanks. |
