Sorry - not sure I've seen the whole string here. Are you looking for a William Swift? William Edward Swift married Isabella McCabe nee Campbell on 14 May 1915. His father was James Swift a chemical works worker - according to the marriage certificate. William was at this time 30 years old, a bachelor and a ship steward - merchant service - SS Somerset, Brocklebank Dock, Bootle. They emigrated approx. 15 years later. William got off the boat in Rose Bay, Sydney. Not sure if any of the above relates to the Swift you are trying to find - if not - good luck with the search. |

Lindsey thankyou, the first one you gave could be the one, as you say age at death estimated 78, could they make such a big age error? he was definitely born 1853/4 |
