I happened to search in the above database for a name I'm interested in and came up with a number of entries like this when I searched on the surname Miller: |

I don't know for sure but I would think it was just naming people who were buried on the same day - not necessarily together in the same grave. |

Have you tried the Dorset Online Parish Clerks Project? They have a lot of records and you might be able to find your names there |
