Could be that we've got 2 families of John & Louisa Phillips in the area...there are certainly others (John & Louisa) who give lots of christian names, in neighbouring areas.
This one is doubtful, the more I look at it.

There are other (possible) baptisms for siblings of your Ada.
But....
a) There's obviously more than one John & Louisa Phillips in the area so there are quite a few to sort through.
b) I don't mind giving you ALL of them, and let you decipher who belongs to who.
c) BUT I really have to go out now!!

If nobody else can give you the baptisms I'm happy to do it, but it will have to be tonight when I'm back.

Just one thing....Mary Noolands, the 74 yr old boarder with the family in the 1911.
If you don't know who she is already, I would say don't discount her, she could be an in-law who could lead you to further branches. Worth looking into.

I'm not sure about these baptisms, now I've had the time to look, apart from Alice May Phillips in 1886 which is a possible.
Some of the other names of baptised children (Alice, William, John) match the names of Ada's siblings , but not all. There are baptisms for Lizzie Louise, Louise Charlotte, Eleanor Hanna, etc, with parents John & Louisa Phillips, but I'm wondering if there were several parents by the name John & Louisa Phillips in the area at that time. It's not like John Phillips is an unusual name!!

We know from the 1911 census that John & Louisa Phillips had 11 children, and 3 died.
From the census information given earlier in this thread, we can count 9 of the children and get their approx year of birth: Louisa b1880, Ada b1881, Lilly b1882, Alice b1886, William b1888, Mabel b1890, Amelia b1892, John b1895 and Harry b1897. And that's what makes me think, on closer inspection, that YOUR John & Louisa may not be featuring in this Baptisms index very much, if at all,

K.

P.S. I've just taken a look at Phillips births, in the district of Poplar 1880-1900 and there's one heck of a lot of Phillips families!!! I don't know how you're going to determine which are the 3 children who died, though it's fairly straighforward to find the ones who did feature on those census returns. If you wanted certificates, that is. Are you familiar with Freebmd.org.uk?
