she correctly states he was a widower
i believe he marr for the first time 1904 - 1906 his first child was born around then
his first wife died between 1906 & 1911 london areas
could someone please trace his first marr if possible

as you know i made mistake placing a thread on here in connection with poss children of henry edwin titchen & ellen catherine evans but had to delete that as should have been added to this thread as not allowed 2 threads concerning same names so dont confuse any helpers
i found what i believe to be thier children from your info so once again thank you
i have found edith a titchen 1913 & edwin f titchen 1915
if anyone can find further info on these would appreciate that also anything on the family

Very little info on the emigrant - it says engineer, and he left from London.
I'm no help on Australia either.

It might be worth changing the title of this thread to include "Australia" to see whether anyone can trace this Arthur forward after disembarking?

He left on 12 Oct 1908 on the SS Geelong bound for Sydney.

Do you have any info to locate him in England after 1908? I don't see a likely Arthur Evans on the 1911 census, and an Arthur J Evans age 22 left the UK for Australia in 1908.
