If I send a message to someone and they have not yet opened it (envelope still purple in sent messages) then I cancel it from my list, would they still see the message? |

I wonder why you would want to remove it from your sent message box? It doesn't take up any space on your computer and you might get a response months from now and forget what you said in your message. |

I'm not sure that the information / message will still be in the other person's message box. |

The reason I asked this question was that I had sent a message to someone but then realized that it was not worded right, so I wondered that if I deleted it from my sent box while it was still not opened by them, would it delete it from their inbox. |

I have done that but no reply yet, but as I say I just wondered if it was deleted from their end. All I wanted was a yes it does or no it doesn’t. |

It is similar to any other rmessaging system. Deleting a message only deletes your copy, not the recipients. |
