Are you saying she was 45 when she married and then went on to have your dad?

If she married a McKinnon before she married your grandfather, you should be looking for a marriage for a Daisy McKinnon.

Sorry I wasn't all there either.

So on that basis she was born Daisy Flanagan and at some time had married a Mr Parkinson, who had died. If you could post some dates and locations then someone will have a look.

There could be a couple of things here. She obviously married Mr Parkinson before your grandfather, but she might or might not have been born Flanaghan, and she may or may not have also married Mr McKinnon prior to Mr Parkinson. It may be that her own mother was widowed and remarried a Mr Flanaghan so that Daisy put him on her marriage certificate. What you really need to do is find the first marriage cert (Daisy to Mr Parkinson) and see what that says.

The marriage cert says Daisy Parkinson widow, father's name John Flanaghan !!!

Who is the widow? or, did you mean to say Birth Certificate?
