Good Question!!
I have scribbled all sorts on paper and getting myself totally confused.
I will start gain
Louisa Kezia birth reg Mch Hackney 1B661
Joseph Thomas Smith reg as above
Robert Thomaparents names correct including mothers middle name as her single name.
Louisa of course is also on 1891 census but no middle initials given
Sorry if i have confused everyone - its my state of mind looking at these things for hours
I am also having to type this blind the page on Gr isnt moving down, but after i type it all and scroll down it is all there.

Maureen what makes you think the children are twins?

Maureen Report 27 Mar 2010 16:09

I cannot sem to get any longer than the above in a message on Gr.
because of the Surname i have been having real fun with this family, they are my Grandfathers parents and siblings although by 1901 he was no longer at home, but have found then on 81 and 91 census.
This of course is the first census that Louisa would have been entered on, her middle initial has been transcribed as R.
I have found on Ancestry a birth 1883 for a Louisa Kezia i cannot make my mind up if it is the correct person.although parents names are correct
I have also found a birth of a Robert Thomas with the same reg numbers and parents names. It also states that mothers middle name is Davis which would be correct for who i am looking for
BUT
Louisa baptised St Marys of Eaton Hackney and Robert St Mark Victoria Park, why would someone have twins baptised at 2 different places.
Robert Snr mother was named Kezia which just complicates matters even more.If i send for certs i dont know what it will tell me one moment the father is a painter, then he's a fishmonger then back to painter again - on censes. Anyone got any ideas please
