I have just found out that 2 of my father's cousins were put into care "cottage homes, Stafford" when there mother was admitted to the Stafford Workhouse (not sure where their father was). |

Dee, it kind of depends what you are after. If you google "orphanages Sheffield" there is quite a lot of info out there. |

Do you know when they were born, if the names are fairly unusual you may find marriages and then children or even their deaths - you do not saywhat year you are talking about.. It may be necessary to buy some of the certificates, witnesses names on marriage certs are often useful.. |
