Well I knew they were carters, but it never occurred to me they would belong to a Guild. It may be the guild (its still going) have records. They have stuff on their site back to the 17th century about the guild/trade. |

Always thought of them as fairly unskilled labourers really, just googling and found they have an ancient guild! . Well, if you cant copy and paste that, just google Carmen Guild. |
