I was searching 1891 Census for Mary Parsons 1890 Camberwell, Father Charles William Parsons 1856, mother Mary Ann c1858. |

Elizabeth Chappell and the others named as Chappell are a completely separate family living at the same address. Elizabeth Chappell is married but her husband is obviously not at home on census night. They are not connected to the Parsons family, unless Elizabeth is the married sister of Charles W. Parsons. She is definitely not his wife. |

I have just realised that on the transcription Ancestry has named all of them as Parsons, but on the image the first family are Parsons and the second family are Chappell. It is just a mistake by the person transcribing the census images. |

Okay Kath, thanks. I'll continue to look for the lost Polly Parsons then. |

Linda. No need to look for Polly. Polly used to be a nickname for someone called Mary. |
