please could someone help me to find Richard Clarke / Clark b 1857 Oswaldtwistle .Lancs..I cannae find him on 1871 and the rest onward..I'm wondering if he died between 1861-1871.

Just wondering if Richard is Newton's son as he would be around aged 16 ..

I have Alice,Joseph and Jane's certs... Alice was my gr grandmother.
I had wondered about thomas if he was maria's child .
What do you think lancashireann ?
I have been looking for Richard for about 8 months going thru all the yrs from 1850 - 1859 so I thought it is time I'd ask for help on here .

I think Richard may have been born before Maria married Newton.

I hope it is not another relly who had vanished from the face of the earth !

I have checked Lancs BMD and can`t find any Richard Entwistle births in the right timescale........ but birth registeration wasn`t compulsory then, and if he was illigitamate he may not have been registered at all.

Just a thought but Maria Entwistle did have a brother called Richard aged 4 on 1841 census.. I wonder if is it him ? and there's a mistake on the transcription detail.

Just found this..... age would fit in with Richard Clarke/Entwistle born c1853....
