Have you tried looking at the websites for the regiments for the area in which they lived , that sometimes show uniforms and badges |

I've had a look on ancestry for their service records, but i've so far found nothing that matches. I did try googing some of the ancestry's results to get some images of the soilders but nothing looks anything like what my great grandparents were wearing.. :( |

Have you tried looking for his service or pension records on Ancestry? You might be able to get his regiment from there. |
