Death Register - easiest way to search?

At the moment I am trawling (for a fourth time!) through the death register looking for a David H L Taylor. All I know is that he was born March 1920 in Epsom and I believe he died as an infant or child - probably in Epsom district as the family stayed local. |

When the birth certificate arrives you could phone the nearest register office to where the birth took place and see if they have a death for him that got missed off the list sent to the GRO. There isn't a death for him in the index on Ancestry. |

I was looking for a much earlier death as Jennifer thought he died as an infant. Ancestry don't have 2006 deaths yet. |
