Hi everyone, I recently received some old photographs of my ancestors but unfortunately dont know who they are. Does anyone know of a way to date the photos so I can at least shortlist who they might be. Any ideas would be gratefully received. |

Hi Mayfield, yes two of them are in uniform but one looks like an Austrian/Hungarian/German uniform. As my ancestors originally came from Hungary I am finding it hard to recognize theuniform. The other uniform looks like a british army ww1 uniform but the only one in the army at that time was my grandfather and it wasnt him. The other photos are of women and groups of men. I am trying to date them by their clothes. |
