That link takes you to the Canadian site, Rose.

It would be interesting to see if anyone from other countries can get accepted!

DET,

Forgot to mention that you don't need to be in Canada to take advantage of this offer. The Worldwide sub works for any country including the UK. Join on on the Canadian site for the good rate and then login to Ancestry.co.uk afterwards.

I just renewed on the Canadian site and I'm not in Canada.

I was charged 149 Canadian Dollars and then I logged back in to Ancestry.co.uk to get the UK centric search results.

I have managed (not sure how though) to get four 14 day free trials from ancestry. I have never paid for one so far.
I get together a list of who I am looking for before signing up and that way I am not wasting my time. I think I got most Of my info from there for free, but have made contact with relations through GR and swapped other family info and photo's. We are in contact with 2 of my husbands 2nd cousins and hope to meet up soon.
I think I put different email address and gave different payment details each time and it works every time.

In early December I bought a copy of FTM 2010 Platinum from Amazon UK for £29.99 (half RRP) and it comes with a free 6 months subscription to Ancestry. OK, it's the basic subscription, but still very cheap and in 6 months I can do a lot of searching through the data I'm permitted to access (trees plus UK census and some other stuff). Fortunately for me I'm not really interested in much foreign data, but the UK Parish records would have been nice..
