I have a Mary Appleton on the census born in South Rowan Yorkshire around 1822, I am trying to find the parish register but as I don't know where in Yorkshire South Rowan would be I don't even know where to start. Any ideas? |

Which census did you find her? Are you sure it says South Rowan as I can't find it on my online map which is usually very good - even for small places? |
