Thanks for that Kath. I have been down this road before with another rellie and as it happened in Liverpool and i am in Essex, I asked the RO in Lancashire to look up for a newspaper report of the incident. Unfortunately, the press gave just the info that the death cert had given. |

For the coroner to be the informant there was probably an inquest because it was either a sudden unexpected death or a suspicious death. |

I have just received a death cert but find that the part that says......"Signature, description and residence of informant" is in fact the Liverpool coroners report. |
